Please note that based on the recommendation of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation dated May 28, 2021 No. 15/1-NS “On scientific specialties of the new nomenclature of scientific specialties for which academic degrees are awarded” in connection with the entry into force Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia dated February 24, 2021 No. 118 “On approval of the nomenclature of scientific specialties in which academic degrees are awarded, and amendments to the Regulations on the Council for the Defense of Dissertations for the Candidate of Science degree, for the Doctor of Science degree, approved by order Ministry of Education and Science of Russia dated November 10, 2017 No. 1093 ”(hereinafter referred to as the nomenclature of scientific specialties), the scientific specialties presented in the nomenclature are divided into three lists:

- scientific specialties that fully correspond to similar scientific specialties of the nomenclature approved by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia dated October 23, 2017 No. 1027;

- scientific specialties formed as a result of the merger of several scientific specialties of the nomenclature approved by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia dated October 23, 2017 No. 1027;

- scientific specialties that have undergone only editorial changes to similar scientific specialties in the nomenclature approved by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia dated October 23, 2017 No. 1027.

In this regard, the editorial board of the scientific journal "Siberian Legal Review" asks you to pay your attention to the fact that if in the new nomenclature the specialty in which you are preparing for defense has undergone changes (for example, in the industry - Legal sciences, scientific specialties were formed as a result of the merger several scientific specialties of the former nomenclature) the journal will accept articles according to the former nomenclature until July 30, 2022 (issues of the journal Vol. 19, No. 1 (2022), Vol. 19 No. 2 (2022), Vol. 19 No. 3 (2022) inclusive).
